My Prince And A White Horse Ep1

There they both were sitting in the front of the class. My crush Taylor Launter and my ex boyfriend Nat Wolff. I was sitting in the back. The teacher was in the front of the classroom talking about numbers and equations that made no sense to me. I looked at Nat then at Taylor.

Kristina: Allie. The teacher asked you a question.
Allie: Sorry. I was distracted.
The math teacher walked down the isle to my desk.
Teacher: Pay attention Ms. DiMeco.
Kristina: Are you still grieving over your breakup with Nat?
I nodded.
Kristina: He broke your heart over and over. You should be glad that you're not together anymore.
Allie: I should be but I'm not. When we were together I was happy. My life was perfect. now that we're not I'm miserable. I'm never going to be glad that we're over.
Kristina: This may not be what you want to hear but I think that he has moved on.
Allie: What? Already?
Kristina: Earlier I saw him with another girl. They were kissing and laughing.
Allie: He is always kissing other girls. That's one of the reasons that we broke up. It doesn't mean he has moved on.
Kristina: They looked happy together. Like he was with you. He was smiling and he looked at her the way that he would look at you. He's over you Allie. You need to let him go.

Nat got over me that fast? How can he and I can't. He told me he loved me. Nat said that I was the first girl he ever really loved. You don't just get over someone you feel that strong about a few days later. If he loved me that much he would be sad about it like me. Nat turned around and looked at me. Exactly the way he did when we were together. I quickly looked away.

Kristina: There must be another guy in this school that you like.
Allie: No other guy could be like Nat.
Kristina: He doesn't have to be. You could hang out with someone else to get your mind off of Nat.
Allie: But I don't want to forget Nat.
Kristina: You don't have to. Just see what other guys are out there. There are others as great as Nat.
Allie: There is one guy that I think is cute.
Kristina: Who is it? Is he in this class?
Allie: Taylor Launter.
Kristina: You should ask him out. Maybe he will turn out to be your prince.
Allie: Kristina. Were you reading my journal again?
Kristina: It was sitting on your desk in your bedroom. In the open. It was hard not to look. When I saw it it said "Kristina read me".
Allie: The next time you come over I'll have to remember to hide it from you.

The bell rang and class was over. My next class is going to be even harder for me. Not only will I see Nat again, but we are project partners. For the class we got to choose any topic and teach the class about it. Our topic is White Horses because their my favorite animals. They are a clean white and beautiful. Me and Nat have been working separately on the project outside of school. Today the teacher is giving us in class time to work on it.

Kristina and I went to our lockers which are right next to each other.
Allie: I almost forgot about my next class. Nat and I have to work on our project together.
Kristina: It'll be fine. There is only a week left to work on it.
Allie: A week is to long. It's going to be impossible to move on and get to know Taylor with Nat around.
Kristina: Aren't you almost done with it? Me and Jacob finished ours a few days ago. How much do you have left?
Allie: Not sure. We have been working it separately. I'll found out in class I guess.
Kristina: The faster you finish the less you will have to see Nat.
Allie: We both go to the same school. I see him everywhere I look.

I closed my locker and turned around. There he was. Close in front of me. Not even an inch away. He turned around and we were facing each other. I could feel his breath on my face. We haven't been this close since we broke up. Should I say something?

Allie: Uhhh.
Kristina: Allie. I'll see you in class. Hi Nat.
Nat: Hi. Allie.
Allie: I got to go.
As I turned away Nat grabbed my arm. I just want to walk away and act like this didn't happen but he won't let me.
Nat: We haven't talked since...How are you?
Allie: Fine.
Nat: That's good.
Allie: I hear you have a new girlfriend.
Nat: Stacy is just a friend. We never dated. She fun but not my type.

I started laughing. He's still the same Nat. After I broke up with I thought that he would have learned his lesson. I thought wrong. He is a jerk and always will be. Nat will never change no matter how much I want him to.

Allie: That's all it ever is with you. Only fun and never serious.
Nat: What are you talking about?
Allie: You already know. It's about us and every thing you did. All of it was a lie.
