Stain Remover Abuse

EN - Quick Description: Only caught on camera just in time before the end of the main wash... this frothy mess was probably due to the large quantity of stain remover I used before putting the clothes in the drum. More text will come up as you watch the video.

IT - Descrizione e Sommario del Testo in Sovraimpressione: Mi sono accorto di questo casino solo pochi minuti prima della fine del lavaggio principale... dunque ho deciso di filmarlo perche... beh... tutta questa schiuma l'avevo vista solo quando avevo deliberatamente raddoppiato (quasi triplicato) il detersivo durante una prova qualche mese fa. Il responsabile di cio e probabilmente stato lo smacchiatore liquido che avevo usato abbondantemente prima di mettere i panni dentro il cesto, poiche la quantita di detersivo utilizzata era quella di sempre... tuttavia, all'inizio del ciclo sembrava tutto normale! Ad ogni modo, il comportamento della lavatrice e stato simile alla prova che avevo fatto tempo fa (Extreme Suds Test), le prime due centrifughe intermedie vengono interrotte per l'eccessiva shiuma e sono seguite da una pausa, l'ultimo risciaquo e stato effettuato a livello basso d'acqua poiche la penultima centrifuga era riuscita a liberarsi della maggior parte della schiuma. Ah... diventicavo... le macchie sono andate via!

WOW!!Quanta schiuma!anche nella Hoover di mia nonna succedeva il SUDS-LOCK!Però quando aveva il motore vecchio eprchè dato che era andato in tilta come quello della REX Electrolux di Aldo,lo ha sostituito e non ha pi\ fattyo un sudslocK.Ciao!A presto

@darrex98 qui il sudslock succede solo quando la macchina e piena di schiuma come qui nel video... pero in tal caso si ferma, fa una sosta e carica molta acqua per aiutare a diluire la schiuma. Ciao.

It's impressive that the machine made the water level higher because of the aborted spins. Our Zanussi Essential just carries on with really shallow rinses even if the machine aborts the spin, which really irritates me. It'll even finish the cycle with foam still visible if we don't add fabric softener. Hoover don't have the best reputation anymore, but this machine kinda makes me think theyre not all that bad, as it coped admirably, as it also did with the overload test you did!

I can't agree more... my admiration for this machine becomes stronger n' stronger after every wash, and I'm real glad I'm not the only crazy one to feel that way about a washer :-P

how long have you had the machine, i saw in the which catalouge that nextra wshers would not last long

Hi there... I don't know how... mine is almost 5 years old and it does not show any signs of tiredness yet and it has always done at least 3-4 loads a week (for the first 3 years it was used everyday cos' I had lodgers). There is an immeasurable number of models of Nextra and some differ greatly, perhaps they are not all as reliable as the HNL3146.

You do know me by now... that's why I'm not too happy with the Indesit doing a high water level softner rinse on any cycle.

Now I'm wondering whether it would have added a 4th rinse or done a 3rd rinse with high water level destroying my fabric softner :-( shouldn't have been able to get rid of the suds after the 2nd rinse: no more tests I promise :-P
