  • the ONLY reason the pens have any success, is becasue they finished in last place 5 times in a row!!!!! they get #1 draft pics, and it ends up being crosby, malkin, staal, fluery, and orpik.. they get rewarded for being the worst team ever. thats the only reason they are good, the only people who do shit on that team is a result of 5 consecutive years of SHIT!

  • Hextall... biggest 5 hole in hockey history. You could drive an 18 wheeler through that thing.

  • Seeing that little Flyers girl cry made my day.

...I think I need some help

  • Biggest goal in Devils' history. They don't win that series if they lose this game.

  • @UncleMikeNJ You're right, it wasn't. I was there. I can't explain why, but there was a completely different vibe than, say, this year, when Buffalo went up 3-2 in OT. We knew we were done. And not just because last year's 0-3 comeback proved it's never over. I don't think we've ever been that low before or since. It's odd because, again, it was only a 2-3 deficit.

  • My favorite goal of all time. Hextall still hasn't seen it. This was the day my team stopped being an expansion team with a little success and grew up.

I don't think the Spectrum was ever as quiet as this.

  • @Matt03785

If only the Atlanta Thrashers had a few good scoring lines, a couple good defensive pairs and a solid goalie, they'd probably have a few Stanley Cups, too.

    Matt, the hockey analyst...

  • Nice one, Ronny. No Conn Smythe this year!

  • wat a goal

  • @Matt03785 Well i recall the flyers getting outshot by the devils almost 2 to 1 in every game during that series. It was more than just the goalie they were missing. They were good but would never have beaten the devils even with a goalie. to be honest Brodeur isnt a great goalie-he was on great teams. with brodeur u would have lost worse

  • @CittenX3 well said!!!

  • @GmanGregilla yeah ok - his career as an all time dick "he ALMOST saved it" major a hole hextall.
