Glenside, PA

Aww, the dear old feller!
This Steam Calliope traditionally brings up the rear of the Glenside parade, and has bravely served another year, despite the apparent geriatric setbacks. I didn't see the 2008 parade, so I don't know if the truck was towed then or not. In prior years, it was more mobile than now.
Does anyone have info to share about this fire truck calliope? A brief Google search shows it's from Princeton, New Jersey, but I learned little else about it so far.
I was 22 years old when I made the whistles for this calliope.I remember melting aluminum car transmisions in a 5 gallon bucket with a 5 inch pipe nipple as a crucible.I can get you the owners info if you like.I have made hundreds of steam whistles and three calliopes since then.check out steam calliope chesapeake bronze works. Can I make one for You ?
