I noticed that when you rotate your wrist, youre not fully locked in. Try twisting to the point where your fingernails are facing your chest instead of the table. If done right, you will feel the bone connected to your pinky finger(ulna)lock up with his arm...thus giving you the advantage of driving your entire forearm into the pad.
