I'm glad the IRS took care of this. As you know things are never perfect. But, did you even know about all of the fraud and abuse that the Internal Revenue Stops every year? @PeaceIsOK took care of ?  they didnt do shit , they never do they are full of shit. i call there bluff and they back down every time, they are the biggest lying thieves around . what they did do was send me a notice admitting they owe me for an overpayment of taxes from withholdings.

They are going to do whatever it takes to try to get you to assess yourself a tax. Therefore the question is: At the end of all the letters and notices, what can you do to stop them from liening and levying ?

Thats actually not too difficult as with everything they bluff about levies and liens first without proper procedure. they typically do a notice of levy not an actual one they get the bank to take your money just like a "employer" is USED to take from you they dont do the actual dirty work.

Unfortunately we won't "see" anything from the government until we make it so. We make it so by ceasing to serve them. But we can't do it one at a time. It takes everyone participating in across the board non-compliance. Until we reach that critical mass it will be business as usual for the true criminal class. Why do you think EVERYTHING is illegal? That's how they make their money.
