I basically followed Gemma and Kartik's story throughout the three books.

That was really good. TSFT was soo sad. I love Kartik, I cried so much when he died. I wish Libba Bray would write another book where Gemma uses her powers to bring him back to life, cause it really sucks.

i hated the end of the book, BUT i loved it too...it was just like real life, life dosent always end happily...it was interesting...

that last sentence always makes me cry. it was such a sad ending. but it says the truth,life doesn't always end happily,and sometimes you have to accept that. but i still wonder what happened to gemma. i wish kartik didn't have to die!

@megdondero i like your interpretation :) it makes me feel better that i know that she can still enter the realms. i thought she could, but then i heard she couldn't, so thank you for clearing that up for all the air heads out there like me :)

@vampiregrl24 It is confusing. And I think Libba left a lot of it up to our interpretation...

The only thing I can say definitely is that yes, Gemma can still go into the realms. She mentions it at the end. I like to imagine that she finds a way to free him, but by the time the book ends she doesn't think she can. I also like to imagine that when Gemma dies, instead of crossing over she finds a way to enter the tree too. So at least they can be together...
