Islam teaches that there is ONE God and he sent three prophets (Moses, Jesus & Mohammed) to relay His message through the holy books. Muslims believe equally in all three prophets.

@fshalan No bigotry here. Muhammad made up a Jesus that was merely a prophet. Muhammad was born 600 yrs after Jesus. He never met, walked, or talked with Jesus but claimed Jesus was only a prophet. How does he know? Muhammad claimed he had an angel sighting. I'm sorry by Muhammad did not know the true Jesus. Do not listen to him.

Mohammad can only be quoted from Qur'an. ANYTHING you find about the prophets that are NOT in the Qur'an do not relate to mohammad. You cannot base this claim off of "Hadiths"or simple traditions.The very groundwork of Islam is the Qur'an and none other, yes Jesus was a prophet and yes he performed miracles in the Qur'an as well. In fact mohammad and jesus seem to be the two best prophets in the Qur'an.

Christians are the only one that says that Jesus is the son of God. :)) In other religions he's just a prophet. Who are you to say that he isn't a prophet?

@fshalan Well, there will never be compromise between Moslems and Christians! For Moslems Jesus, Isa, is only a prophet, accepted to have been born from the Virgin Maryam, also respected by Moslems! But He's only another prophet! The Qur'an uses some sayings of Jesus to justify the arrival of Mohammed, tha last and ultimate prophet of Allah! For Christians Jesus is the Son of God and with him, all prophecy ended! There can be no approachment! Only respect for each others lives and freedom...
