We're very lucky on Le Cargo!, a few weeks after shooting with Glen Hansard ( http://lecargo.org/spip/glen-hansard/session-330/article7617.html), we meet with Markéta Irglová, the other half of The Swell Season at le divan du monde, a beautiful intimate venue in Paris, for a wonderful session with songs from her first album Anar, a new version of the song The Swell Season with lyrics in Farsi and a song with Sean Rowe, who's touring with her.
On these videos and on stage, Markéta is with her friend Aida Shahghasemi who's singing and playing a daf, a frame drum that is mostly used in Middle East and India.

no , please donot mess around with gears and cables and mikes...As it is , pure natural is beatiful..It is great to hear just like you are hearing when you are in the room with them. Isnt that the whole purpose ? I mean youtube is full of professionally recorded live sessions from BBC to Yahoo , you name it..This is what is missing .Thank you !

@cautionhorsey you're totally right, the location of the sound recorder was far from perfect but there was little room on stage and we didn't have an extra mike for her vocals, anyway it's still a beautiful song :) and we do hope there will be a next time soon with all the extra gear to get it right this time :)
