The Buddha was not born of a virgin. This is a huge misconception. Clearly the story of Siddartha's life lists his father, King Suddhodana, of the Sakya Tribe.

@Tanatbenbenpoppop just check out a western buddhist website to see how much they have perverted his teachings to make him seem undivine or just a plain person with a good message.if u say u worship the Lord Buddha or the Buddha walked on water or did miracles=AGULIMALA then here u are unbuddhist,talk to enough westerners u will see what i mean,Buddhism here is an atheist nhilist pyhlosophy with Buddha as the higher being DOWNGRADED to mere human like us its sad.

@Tanatbenbenpoppop yes Buddhism has supernaturality,try telling that to other buddhists in america,the reason we had a misunderstanding is i thought u were trying saying the Lord Buddha was just plaiun human like u or me nothing special,(like most buddhist in america think)here he has ZERO divinity no supernatural,no after life he isnt the higher being to worship,here he just a plain human nothing speacial just human hence our misunderstanding,

@Tanatbenbenpoppop (CONT)in thailand u worship the Lord Buddha as the highest being,in america buddhist ignore the suttas and say the Lord Buddha was Just a plain human like us who taught a good message.when u say the Lord Buddha wasnt a god u mean gods are lower beings who are unenlightened i see what u mean,sadly Buddhism in america took the extreme view of NHILISM and zero supernatual,the buddha here is downgraded to be a "normal person"with a happy mind=nirvana hence the misunderstanding
