Lee Rutter 12.4 second pass in his M3. Car has lighter wheels/tires, removed passenger seat. Car has Rogue Engineering LTW flywheel/clutch system.

Also that M3 has not sunroof. That helps for sure,

Somehow I never did break the rear or any parts in this car. I had many high rpm launches with zero breakage. The key is to avoid that dreaded wheel hop. The best 60 ft tome was 167 on a drag radial and 175 on the stock rubber.

I have seen srock once runing 13.0 and 13.1, so it all depends on the driver
