This is a simple test of the drum mutes to show how effective/ineffective they are. You be the judge. As far as the feel of them go, they don't bounce nearly as well as a real drum head, and hitting a muted cymbal feels really wrong. They cut the noise down to about 1/3 though.
wonder what crash cymbal you use?

@gitardedi i used a 22" Dream china, some B8s and an 18" APX, but I've since upgraded. Check out my channel for a new drum tour!

the kit at my school has those, they suck

@hiphopsucks96 could you elaborate? they 'suck' in what way?
kesihua2 4 months ago
@kesihua2 they feel like mousepads...there's absolutely no rebound on anything...and they don't cut out that much sound. and that's just the ones for the drums. the cymbal mutes aren't as bad as u'd think, they just don't help too much on the hi hats (hard to distinguish open/closed). u can definitely get better

@hiphopsucks96 thanks. I appreciate your feedback and I agree for the most part. the snare is still too loud.
