Here's something you'd thought you'd never see again.
This is the opening for ESPN's made-for-TV World Roller Hockey League. The WRHL was a creation of promoter David McLane.
You gotta love this intro, featuring a metal riff logos of the eight teams in the league, plus clips of WRHL in the background.
This was ESPN's first foray into the world of roller hockey, but it was not their last. They debuted Pro Beach Hockey in 1998.
This intro was taken from a TSN broadcast of the WRHL. Yes, some of its games found their way northward.
