  • Badass. I envy the fortunate, fortunate souls that witnessed this. Boris channels heavy.

  • Hes using and ebow ,slide, his whammy bar and his hand looks cramped . never again will i allow people to tell me there just hitting random strings ¬¬

  • @BackwoodsFilms every cd in the store was cracked or melted. my mom asked me to turn down the volume for this song. i touched the knob and i burned the skin on my finger.

  • Wow... I can't believe the record store is still standing after that...

  • brilliant

  • beautiful

  • I'll bet as they are playing, they aren't thinking: "I'm avant-metal right now" -or whatever They are focusing on the music, Just as any passionate band does, and just as a listener whos into it should. Instead of leaving pointless comments like all fucking day. Just kidding. I'm leaving one now myself: The only reason I hate genres. They never do a good job of capturing what the art or music actually is at it's core.

  • It's Masami Akita, Merzbow...

and what was that? was that a contest of which band is heavier and that's the winner?

    Come on!

  • I think Kayo Dot's compositions are beautiful, and not a note is wasted in any of them.

Also, you're saying they're songs never went anywhere but you went to see Pelican? They're one of the most boring "post-metal" bands.

  • man i saw Kayo Dot with Pelican and I thought they wasted their potential. They had like 9 instruments on stage and their songs were drawn out and boring and never really went anywhere. didn't utilise their potential for sure. just my thoughts
