This is a reasonable facsimile of the horn sound played at Minnesota Vikings Football games.

  • The "Viking Horn Call" and the old version of the Vikings Fight Song were recorded about thirty years ago at Creation Audio in Bloomington, Minnesota. Steve Wiese and Terry Grant owned the studio at that time. Scott Crosbie hired the musicians for the session. The Viking Horn Call was played by Eric Kodner on the French horn. Trombone player Jim TenBensel, Drummer Gordy Knudtson and Kodner were among the musicians participating in recording the Vikings Fight Song tracks.
