@PTNLemay Because warm air from the CPU gets sucked into the bottom fan on the power supply.

How come newer cases have the Power Supply Unit placed along the bottom, yet the older ones (like here) tend to be near the top? Heat rises right, so wouldn't the top be better? To immediately get rid of the heat produced by the PSU.
