In this lecture I explain the meaning of "Tawheed" (Islamic Monotheism). I also explain the meanings of the words "Islam" and "Muslim" and I talk about the Attributes of God, salvation and polytheism (Shirk). This is part 1.

We dnt worship Kaaba bt itz da direction of our prayrz inorder 2 b unitd n before Kaaba, Masjid Al-Aqsa of Jerusalem was usd 2 for da Qibla(Direction) !!! During da time of Muhammad S.A.W ppl usd say Azan(Call 4 prayrz) on Kaaba, no idolatr can stand on deir idol, bt we do dis proves dat we dnt worship Kaaba we only worship Almighty Allah !!!

You don't bow for it!!! It is only a symbol. The goal is all Muslims around the world face the same place during prayers, no matter where they are.

Please who kisses a stone. You need to read more and watch less TV. God is not going to give you stuff if you kiss the ground.

when we bow we don't bow for a stone or a creature we bow for something greater than us and far greater than what are minds can imagine.

So please show some respect and in return other people will show you respect.

Can anyone help me? I’ve been looking around for A TRULY MONOTHEISTIC faith to follow. So far, I’ve been bitterly disappointed.

All the major faiths I’ve tried seem to have backslid into near paganism, with complex, obscure hierarchies of beings to worship. Sure, God is at the top, but below there are thousands of angels, saints, prophets & ancestral spirits who can apparently intercede & give advice if you talk to them nicely enough. One even claims God had a son walking about here on earth!

@libertyjusticeforal1 I have been reading secular books on islam, and the quran itself. Just because something is secular, that doesn't make it anti-religion.

Can God die? Well, the quran says allah can do *anything*, and the Bible says God can do almost anything, so yes, if God wanted to, He could die. Jesus could have saved Himself because He even said no one can take His life, but instead, He gives it up freely. I suppose you could call that suicide, but it was done out of love.

Quran doesnt say mountains prevent earthquakes. it says Mountains make the Earth stable.

The sun sets in a murky pool of water. looks like you dont understand what the verse means. or i dont understand this reference about a coin. maybe your comments need more explaining.

@libertyjusticeforal1 Use science to disprove the quran? Ok, statements like mountians prevent earthquakes, or the sun sets in a murkey pool of water. History? Statments like Alexander the Great built a wall of iron and brass between 2 mountians, or Joseph being sold for a coin that didn't exist.

I can give you a *very* long list of errors, pagan influences and editions to the quran.

If you want to prove the Quran wrong. Then use any honest method you like. Use Science, History, Theology or common sense. You will not be able to disprove a dot of the Quran.

The Bible on the other hand has been changed so many times and still has silly errors.

ANSWER THIS QUESTION HOW CAN GOD DIE?

HOW CAN YOUR GOD SAVE ME WHEN HE COULDNT EVEN SAVE HIMSELF?

AND IF HE COULD SAVE HIM SELF AND DIDNT, THEN ISNT THAT SUICIDE?

The Quran is 100% the word of God.

The Bible is not. It has been changed from the word of God into the word of man.

@libertyjusticeforal1 Part 3: Also, the Bible doesn't teach 3 gods and they are 3 in 1. Christians have been preaching One God with no partners, divisions or equals for 600 years before islam existed.

The difference between you and I is, you look at the Bible and quran from a theological point of view to deturmin it's validity. I look at the Bible and quran from a historical point of view to deturmin its validity. The problem is, theology is not proveable.

@libertyjusticeforal1 PART 2: The Bible paints a very honest and very real picture of the culture and historial context. However, that is not the reason historians accept the Bible as historially sound. Archeology is always finding relics assosiated with Biblical people and events, and most Biblical events are backed up by historical records. Granted, the Bible (and virtually every book in the world) doesn't get it 100% correct all the time, but it is a trustworth historical source.
