In the highlands of Scotland in the 1700s, Rob Roy tries to lead his small town to a better future by borrowing money from the local nobility, Marquis of Montrose, to buy cattle to herd to market.
Unfortunately, the Marquis' lackey, Archibald Cunningham, discovers the deal and interferes. The money never shows up, the Marquis is determined to take McGregor's land as payment, and McGregor is forced to become an outlaw.

Liam neeson would have done a much better job doing braveheart than mel Gibson! But obviously it's mel gibsons film it just wasn't right him trying to be Scottish but they are both fantastic films!

@USAFPilot623 i remember this in my old room watching it when i was about 6. On the old windows 95. Did you find that hidden terminator game in the system files, you couldnt actually shoot just walk around an abandoned city! Good old monkey island aswell, best game ever!

@USAFPilot623 hahahah lmao Windows 95 brought me here! I was like 10 or so and this film has always had some mystery about it.. watching this trailer as an adult kinda ruins it and gives the film away!
