@beccaccio550 Nobody looked into the camera for the sake of the mockumentary/documentary style we were trying to convey and achieve; for the most part, we would have all the characters looking at an interviewer just off screen to really drive home that fact, and most (if not all) of the action shots were shot without looking into the camera to show that the "documentary crew" was really an afterthought to the church, and that they were quite passionate about their beliefs, messages, activities.
I am so proud of this video. We literally risked our lives to get some of these shots, like the protest scenes. We found out the hard way that one of my neighbors is a militant Christian biker who rides to support all the fallen soldiers in the area. Yeah, THAT was truly a memorable moment in film making history that none of us involved will EVER forget! Congratulations on a job very well done and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be involved. It is a memory I will cherish forever.
I'm very proud of the way this came out, especially aesthetically. Really got that spot-on, I think. I just wish the CMF had given us ten minutes instead of seven to work with!!!
