Get rid of the 2 { } in the middle and close the if (x > y) like so and it should work. Worked for me. :)

i checked my code 5 times its the same like yours but i cant compile because an error with 2nd curly bracket and what i do any other errors come
(the code with x bigger than y)

take all the time you need man these are the best c++ tutorials i have found.
i use code::blocks is that going to cause problem with code from you tutorials... im very new at this. and if you could would you explain the windows.h and the conio.h includes you used i am totally lost
