I never get tired of seeing you work. You do such a fine job not only in hypnosis, but in teaching and communicating. You are a true professional. Never stop doing what you're doing, KC.

I have watched many videos of rapid and normal introduction on YouTube, you so far are at the top of the list. I want to try it but after learning a bit, I don't know if It will work. There are many was to rapidly induce people but I was hoping you could give me some pointers to make me feel mor confident before I try my first success or failure.

@magebotjz2 Regarding your questions:
1. Hypnosis is not actual sleep, it is a state of concentration and heightened suggestibility.
2. People are able to relax in many different positions, some people can fall asleep (real sleep) with one leg up as in the video you saw. This means a person who is relaxed and in the state of hypnosis (not actual sleep), can relax in a similar position. (CONTINUED)

3. Each person experiences hypnosis differently. Some feel it is a compulsion to follow the suggestions of the hypnotist, others feel as though they are in a dream reacting to the hypnotist's suggestions as though they were the cccurrances in a dream, still others feel as though they are being compliant--following along with the hypnotist's suggesions due to their own volition. ... However in each of these cases, which do not represent an exhaustive list of the way people experience hypnosis, the person ultimately follows the hypnotist's suggestions because they are in a heightened state of suggestibility (the state of hypnosis).
Please remember that a person does not need to be relaxed to be in the state of hypnosis. A person can experience stage freight or a rush of adreneline and still remain completely hypnotized.

2 things
are you a ninja?
and secondly
you usually say "Sleep!" very loudly
why does this not disturb the stupor or trance that the person (the one being hypnotized) is in?

@runnybabbit12 LOL I like the fact that you considered--even for a moment--that I might be a Ninja. Thanks.
Regarding your second question, there are several things to consider:
1. The way a hypnotist delivers a suggestion can vary as long as it is congruent with the rapport that has been established with the client or volunteer. In this video, I am purposely using an authoritarian style. So, speaking loudly is not jolting.
2. Voice inflection can be used to highlight a suggestion.

The video in the beginning was "Pattern Interrupt Hypnosis" isn't it.

@seanbro33 No, Seanbro33. The technique shown at the beginning of this video is a physical deepening technique. A pattern interrupt is a method in which the hypnotist establishes a pattern in the client (e.g., shaking a hand, counting numbers, a repetitive motion) then breaks that pattern usually with shock/confusion/surprise in order to create the hypnoidal state.
