@tinchosenventysix "not one was lost in a fatal accident" calculo que haces referencia a los despistes como el de ushuaia, por suerte no fueron fatales como aclara el autor del video, y los accidentes de austral fueron ambos los hermosos y tmb retirados MD. Abrazo! btw, vi tus videos, muy buenos!!!

Muy bueno.
Pero sacale lo de "not one was lost", porque hubo dos piñas importantes en las que no se recuperaron los aviones.

It's a 200Adv. or more specifically, a -236Adv., ex-British Airways.

That was awesome to see the low pass from inside & experience the excitement! I was a flight attendant on a 200 in South Africa for the past year and I am going to miss it. What a great plane! And your AA 200's have really done well for AA for so long! I bet if they were given the opportunity they could have gone for another 10 or 20 years. Adios 200... we will always love you!

You're absolutely right, and the proof is that most of the ex-BA and ex-AF aircraft accumulated just 40-60% of the cycles and hours that AR's original -287s did. Structurally most of them were/are OK to go on for a good many more years. Like all Boeings of that era, built to last. LV-WTX for example flew until the age of 35. LV-JND, 34, and so on...
