1944. As the war in Europe continues to take its toll on Allied forces, the Pentagon brass has no recourse but to consider unorthodox options - including the untried and untested African-American pilots of the experimental Tuskegee training program. Just as the young Tuskegee men are on the brink of being shut down and shipped back home, they are given the ultimate chance to show their courage. Against all the odds, with something to prove and everything to lose, these intrepid young airmen take to the skies to fight for their country - and the fate of the free world.

First of all I would like to say this movie isnt some fictional movie with aliens and made up bad guys.. ITS HISTORY!.... AMERICAN HISTORY.... if you were looking for a fictional movie I suggest people go to blockbuster.. and pick up independence day lol u may find it more interesting..

Let it be known to all that read these words..bigots? and non-bigots alike..never have we had in the anals of history, a group of braver men. These incredibly brave African American warriors were laughed at, mocked, even physically beaten by their own white countrymen. They endured all this yet prevailed to serve their country! So racists, bow your heads in shame! For we shall never see the likes of these? extraordinary supermen ever again... the legendary elite warriors... The Tuskegee Airmen!

i saw this movie on the 19th of feburary and i think i was the only one in the audience of 10 people crying like a 3 year old who didnt get the shiny red toy car. best movie ever!
