Man, those things burn hot and fast.

@SuperOffgrid yeah I would Imagine so. A lot of plastic, fiberglass, etc not to mention particle board and linoleum. I have the fire extinguisher close by, and I have smoke detectors. I am always worried about the gas furnace though. The way Coachmen designed it the furnace is built into a wooden cabinet. It doesn't seem to have much protection from heat. scary...

@redyoshi1985 very fast. It's not the flames, but the toxic smoke that would be produced and quickly kill the occupants.

I have a 1976 Coachmen Cabover Camper.. I am currently on the road Staying in.. I was wondering how much time I have in the event of a Fire.. Just how much time I would have to escape.. I have done some Reconstruction on the Camper and it seems that it is constructed out of.. Man it's almost like Balsa wood it seems.. thin little 1 by whatevers and very thin Plywood. I have a fire Extinguisher and smoke detectors. I have 2 exits a top hatch, The front door. How fast do these go up? anyone know
We were driving by and there it was, on fire, It's great visuals for YouTube. It was not used for TV news broadcast.
