@BasicModelling If you put in front of an expensive model of a vase or bowl, then the model will be a whole ...: D

@fmcVlad I think so too, it is not a Revell original.. but I have built it before and had nearly completed it, when my wife knocked it off the table and it ended up in the bin.. :P I will keep it 'wife safe' this time around.. :)

Amazing F1 footage at the beginning + FORMIDABLY BUILT kit = top rate video!! Impressive! The men who drove those beasts were authentic warriors; not like nowadays, certainly...

@AlanMartinNala Thank you:)
Yes, you're right, they did it in a totally unprotected machines.

@fmcVlad Their head was obviously under risk of been cut away in case the car crashed and turned upside down; which I guessed must have happened some times, at least against the "safety barriers" (then made of... packs of straw, I think), and which hardly separated racers from the public, if I remember right... What I just cannot understand is how or why those who organized races at those times didn´t take solutions over a decade or two by modifying both cars and the tracks structure.

@AlanMartinNala In my opinion, in the early 70's Jackie Stewart became the first rider, who started the fight for the safety of race tracks and cars.
