Robert Morey, who believes Christians are very "gullible" & love "conspiracy stories" (see other videos for documentation), plays on that fact when he creates the "secret bank account" conspiracy story. To see the full length video on this suject the viewer can go to "Yahoo Video" & search "Robert Morey." Like a bad novelist who takes his readers for saps that will pay for his "junk" anyway, Morey concocts a tale playing on the conspiratorial word "secret." Morey accuses the Wessels brothers of having a "secret bank account" through which he claims the Wessels had stolen vast sums of money from his ministry. Witness testimonies say Morey has claimed the Wessels have stolen more than $300,000 to $150,000 to $100,000 to as low as $30,000; it just depends on who Morey told what. This video covers Morey's alleged "secret bank account." The problem for Morey of course is the actual bank records themselves. Once anyone looks at the actual bank records Morey's "secret bank account" story is exploded to the four winds. It turns out Morey received the very first check out of the "secret bank account" & many more thereafter. This bank account was certainly no "secret" to Morey! Morey goes through all this "fraud" work just to keep people from realizing that he really did defraud the Wessels out of their $23,000 in loan money & that Morey really was a liar like they said. With this "secret bank account" story (if believed) Morey could not only hide the truth but at the same time receive financial support & sympathy from an unsuspecting public. Morey realized that the penalties for mail fraud under federal law were not very stiff so he took the chance & went for it. To view hard copy pdf documentation pertaining to this case go to "fileqube (.com)/shfolder/10211vNixWr". Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." The entire letter and other supporting documentation can be found by going to a hard copy pdf site on the internet called fileqube (.com)/ shfolder/10211vNiXWr and look for the report entitled "Recapping Events." Another useful site is the saintaugustinian (.blogspot) with links to multiple internet sites & blogs that expose "Faith Defector" Robert A. Morey for what he really is which adds support & documentation to what Boyd has said.
