This song is from Patty's first album "Living With Ghosts". Unfortunately I made a bit of a hash of handling the record company. The footage of Patty cutting her hair and the wandering about was shot on a Bolex and is really nice I think. Where I fucked up was not being strong enough when she was glammed up by hair and make-up artists for the hilltop performance stuff....where she looks Bonnie Raitesque. Patty is very cool, very much less obvious than that, and I should have argued my case with the record company.
Anyway, I absolutely implore you to go out and buy Living With Ghosts, because there are at least 7 or 8 tracks on there better than this one. It's a rare rare gem of a record. You won't be sorry.

i've been a fan since first hearing living with ghosts when it first came out. she's just amazing. i'm really looking forward to her new album, due out feb 6th. about the same time my baby's due (feb 7th)! nice way to celebrate!! :)

Wow, didn't even know there was a video to this. Same for me. 1996 and heard this on the sunday morning hangover cafe show on the local college rock station. Bought the CD that day. Saw her live a few months later.
