u know you can get a circuit board for like 3 dollars lol, this was very interesting to watch.

also "tin for art" is like tin foil but thicker and heavier, i got a roll for about $3 and it weights about 6 pounds

Thats' cool !! I just finished doing a batch of copper sulfate, I was also experimenting with different ways to get the transfer more efficent, What i think happens is the higher the concintration of metal in the acid the more conductive the solution becomes, it seems to reach a critical point and then the annode loads up with a hairball, I found that using 2 AA batterys works good because the power fades, in 300ml they lasted approx 1.5 hours, but the size of your ann / cath will differ time.

@7777dmith7777 Yeah, I had the electrodes too close to each other so that "hairball" formed. What also happened is that the electrodes shorted out which could have blown the power supply but luckily I was using resistors.

please can you tell me where i can find pure tin to make electrodes ?
