Susan Kramer MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Trade & Industry Secretary, talks about the party's campaign to save post offices. Website: http://www.libdems.org.uk/postoffices
There are some things that can never make a profit. That doesn't mean they must always close. Especially if they play an absolutely vital role in keeping the local community and economy alive.
Strange how we subsidise things like farming to the hilt, yet close down vital local post offices.
Even in Manchester city centre I now need to walk halfway across town to get to a post office. Whereas, seven years ago I had two within quarter of a mile.
Nancy- you are fussy! I had to listen again to hear the clock, and they are just next to big ben - would you like the clock turned off during broadcasts?
This is beautifully presented and heartfelt although I think the unflattering camera angle and wide angle lens lets her down. There is one cutaway shot that adds interest - could be more - also a bit too bad the clock rang while she was speaking. Nancy Sarre
she is spot on and the decimation of our local services is directly affecting local issues. stop closing our post offices, it is there to serve us poor people as well as government influencing big businessess!

agree on the camera point as well. Why not make the Vid infront of a rural post office though rather than in a noisy street in front of parliament.

Lots of good ideas here. I agree about the camera angle though. Needs to be further away from her face.
