Thanks for posting this! I watched these as a kid. I remember this episode in particular. These were popular when I was a kid , They would leave you hanging and you couldn't wait for the next episode. I liked "Commando Cody" as well. For the time, the special effects worked. But now I wonder,Why was flash wearing a Santa Clause suit? Just noticed that! LOL
I do remember watching these back in the early eighties (UK). Those robots look like men trying to walk like robots...... Oh they are men dressed up as robots. Still looks great though.
Who ever is at the controls of that Ship is a Master; truer words never spoken by one of Emperor Ming's Thugs(Captain Torch) That Pilot could only be Doctor Zarkov.
Captain Video seems to have came and went before we got our 1st TV in Sept. '51. I was 3 going on
4. This was my show! There was another "Flash"
series (then new) on another channel, which was made in West Berlin. I have two of those episodes on a "Space Adventures" DVD put out by "DVD Video." Anybody know where I can find
more of these? Also, does anyone know where all that snow and skiing footage came from? This wouldn't be from "Piz Palu," would it?
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please view my clip of some unusual movie star trading cards, featuring: Buster Crabbe ( Flash Gordon ) and Johnny Weissmuller ( Tarzan ), East Side Kids, Shirley Temple,Laurel & Hardy,Stan Laurel,Oliver Hardy,Gene Autry,The Three Stooges,Moe, Larry and Shep,Louis Hayward,Abbott Roy Rogers,Old Mother Riley ( Arthur Lucan ), and Costello.
Am I the only who is wondering why they need a Periscope on a rocket which has plenty of windows?
