They're first generation here. All of their families are from Ireland. Just because they don't live in Ireland doesn't mean they're not Irish. Since you're completely ignorant about this band (obviously), they are a punk band. The Irish accents (meaning music accents) are added for their own personal touch to their music to distinguish from the rest of the bands in the scene. Nothing but pop shit comes out of Ireland, so I guess you're comment is no surprise. Do your research next time.
