@jazz4 I personally like both equally (maybe Fargo a tiny bit more) but I don't think it's a matter of quality, just age. Youtube was around the time No Country For Old Men was released and everybody always watches the trailers for upcoming new releases but for some, there's no need to watch trailers for movies that have been out a long time, especially if they've already seen it. Also, there's another trailer for Fargo on Youtube that has about 740,000 views.

This isnt actually a true story, theres an interview with Macy about the film where he says he asked the coen brothers how this crazy tale cud b a true story and they told him that it wasnt, they just said it was at the beginning of the film to blow your mind, it has a good effect on how you enjoy the movie i think.

@MAU007ANGEL It's dramatic, sure, but I'd call it a dark comedy before calling it a drama movie.

1 of the most funiest colest and dramatic films ever!!!

It's both. Black comedy, with an underlining dramatic tone.

@Azartusfar Yah....

Oh really.

@Azartusfar @kalorication The Coen Brothers later said that they made up the "true story" aspect.

@MAU007ANGEL I think if I had to classify it within a genre, I would say it's a drama with subtle comedic elements. However, I never saw it as a part of any group or genre. The first time I saw this film I was blown away by just how incredibly different it was from everything I had seen prior to it. It got me seriously into movies and to this day it remains one of my favorites.
I think its very good, if you liked Pulp Fiction, I think you will like it. Its an American Classic
