Gandhi has always been compelling complex and strangely contemporary. Sir Richard Attenborough introduced "Mahatma" the great soul to the west and the world remains grateful to him. I grew up understanding Gandhi through others; till I discovered a deep would he carried i his heart. Somewhere in the shadows of this great man lived his son, roaming the streets of India like a beggar. Converting to Islam as a rebellion, reconverting to Hinduism as a penance and finally drinking himself to death. Harilal Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's eldest son carried his Gandhi identity as a curse around his neck. Hi! I don't see this film but...I read a lot of Mahatma Gandhi, I really like the way he think and all the things he do for India and for the world. Now...I want to Know what people think about Mahatma "like Father".I think he was an amazing man, but he is an human too, so he cant be perfect in all the things. And I ask to myself why all the people say it Mahatma fault(blame) ??? I think his son was not a saint or a perfect son. So what do u think ?

Darshan Jariwala is hopeless actor and Shefali Chhaya thinks she is Sridevi. In my opinion, they both are dumb and failures.

Oh my goodness this film is absolutely great. Brilliantly made and acted. Akshaye khanna was superb and so was Darshan Jariwala & Shefali Shetty. Hats off to Feroz abbas khan for his first stint as a director.

i dnt often watch indian films but iv just seen this film...it was brilliant.. showed gandhi has a human and not a god like figure. Akshaye's performance was splendid. Best film of 2007!
