Showing off my first nice pipe. Its a Big Ben Presidential. I bought it online at www.frenchyspipes.com French was really nice and he shipped it really quick.
I'm not much of a smoker. Infact I really dont like to inhale. My throat gets all scratchy and I end up coughing. BUT I really enjoy smoking a pipe. The whole process is enjoyable.

This is my first blog. I'm a little on edge and slightly embarrassed in front of the camera but I'll loosen up on the next one ;)

I want to say thanks to PipeFriendCHS and Thesmokeshop for thier great videos! They definitely taught me something about pipes.

  • I was thinking about buying that same

pipe I purchased a couple of cobs from frenchy's let me know how it smokes

  • I'm not a bigtime pipe smoker, but this Big Ben is the smoothest thing Ive ever smoked. I have a few corn cobs and a no-name pipe, the Presidential is 10x's better and totally worth the $. =) I just wish it was a little bigger

  • Kyle, stop watching my video!

    hahaha

  • WTF y does he have an isotopes jersy on? dude if u live in albequerque come smoke at my house

  • I used to live in ABQ from 97-05 =) Back in NJ now, but I do miss that place. Dont ask why though, lol.

  • Hello mate,

Enjoyable first video. I've just ordered a Big Ben 'Gigolo presidential apple straight grain'. Your looks like a good pipe. Mine will be my first BB pipe. The great thing about pipes mate is that it's a real journey in terms of working stuff out. Even after years of smoking a pipe i'm learning..

    Regards

    Tim

  • Thanks Tim

Im already looking forward to my next pipe, which I may have to wait until Christmas =) I would really like to get a Boswell next.

  • Even though I like cobs I will give it

    a try

  • Nice pipe

  • My first pipes (in 1995) have been Big Ben and Hilson Pipes (both are made by Gubbels, the well known dutch pipemaker). Nice first video!

Your packing is almost (as you said) the "Frank Method", better known as "german packing". I've just made a video with his packing method (authorised to use his own videos).

    Cheers

    Lars

  • lol i think your frank meathod needs work. i find it easyer to just pack the bowl as you see fit, i save the fancy stuff for partys to impress friends

  • Great video!!! I suggest using more lighting so we can see you even better. 5 stars!
