  • Although I don't speak sign, thank you for a wonderful post, tactile! I was at a trade fair just a few blocks away in Dublin and it came to a halt when they dropped down large video screens to show the swearing-in and speech. I was standing next to a man from New Zealand and a French woman, all of us cheering for Obama. Not just because of the wonderful precedent of being the first black US president, but because of his promise to his country and to the world. Walk tall, America. :-)

  • His promise has fallen through, and the world has been show he is a moron, who cares not for the safty of the United States or the rest of the world, but only for his image, and a race that has already proven, numours times that they are just as cabable of leading anything, the U.N. not withstanding
