Today I review Adagio's Green Pekoe, which hails from the Fujian province of China. It's considered to be an everyday tea that produces a mellow, but crisp taste.
@MephistophelesMyLord Pu-erh is my second-favorite kind of tea behind oolong. My dad and I drink pu-erh together and we got a really nice 2009 American Hao raw pu-erh cake. Superb. Thanks again for the comment. Be sure to subscribe and keep tuning in for more videos!
@MephistophelesMyLord Normally I go with a gaiwan or yixing clay teapot (for pu-erh), but my camera is built in to my iMac, so I don't really have the best camera maneuverability (I would have to stand about 10 feet back and hold my tea table with my knees, which is kind of risky). Also, the gaiwan tends to be messy, which is a hazard for my computer. If I could, I would do these with a gaiwan though. One day, I'll make a video showing off my tea setup (it's nothing amazing).
You may find that you'll get to experience more of the flavor if you use something besides that tea ball. Even a cup with a lid to strain out the leaf sediment I think would be better.
I love pu-erh! My husband thinks it taste like dirt, though LOL
I bought some 5-year and the flavor sticks with you through the entire day.Everytime I took a sip of water it would bring back the Pu-erh flavor, even after eating meals!
