actually Pakeha does not mean white flea hahaha, it actually is derived from the word pakehakeha which means white skinned, and is now used today as a name for European New Zealanders. The diffrence is george is that Indians and chinese can go back to there own countries and have a voice, where can Maori go? You dont understand the processes of treaty claims, move them too fast and you may miss something, and then in twenty years time there will be more submissions and protests!

Kia ora. This is very interesting. My father had an exhibition at the Yvonne Rust Gallery in Whangarei in either 1997 or 1998. In the exhibition he compared the treatment of the Maori to the 1939 Holocaust, and his work also touched on the emergence of anti-multiculturalism at the time promoted by Pauline Hanson et al. Having been away from NZ for ten years, I didn't know about Tariana Turia's statement nor Gordon Toi's painting. Seems my dad had an impact!

Ka pai te korero. I know of one such Holocaust which happen to Ngati Maru women and children from that hapu were murdered in the Manukau Heights area by colonial solders this happen well worries went to tautoko waikato against colonial invaders, some wahine and tamariki are still buried in that area and are not at rest, a very sad situation, when the housing projects started they moved some of the whanau but not all.................

Soon there will be no nations just people.We are all the same but off course a biproduct of our enviroment in which we are raised.No one is born greedy or spitefull of agressive.The Maori culture is beautiful and I live my life by its core principles so that I am a better person.There is no other culture that I have heard off that has the concept of whanaungatanga of manaakitanga, a beatiful concept that truly incorporates compassion on a whole new level.
