This video is for RanmaAkane4Luv's AMV/MMV contest, the second contest I will have entered on Youtube. I decided to take one of the "mini videos" from one of my recent videos (and my first contest entry) "The Ranma and Akane Montage". I used the 5th video, which is of course, "Ranma and Akane's Love Story"; only this time, it's the full, remodeled version!

Description:

It was a typical story. A boy and a girl meet at a party, and fall in love. It was natural, wasn't it? What Akane Tendo didn't know was that the handsome boy who had said "hello" to her at the party was noneother than Ranma Saotome.

Why was his important? Because his father and her father just so happened to be in a very complex and deadly family fued. But Akane doesn't discover this until after Ranma has already swept her off her feet, tossing pebbles at her window after the party, and climbing up the trellis to her bedroom. . .only for Akane's father to walk in and find her daughter sitting on the bed with his enemy's son, with Akane wearing nothing but a little nightgown.

Her father forbids Akane to see Ranma, and vise versa for Ranma. But Ranma has never really listened to his father. He and Akane start to sneak away from their families whenever they're given the chance, simply to spend time in the other's presence.

Then, Akane is given a surprise from her father: an arranged marriage to Tatewaki Kuno, the son of the richest man in town. Akane refuses, and runs off to find Ranma and tell him. He tells her to wait for him on the outskirts of town the next day, and Akane believes that he's finaly decided to run away with her, something she knew he'd been purposely avioding talking about and something she'd been dreaming and hoping for all along.

So, Akane goes to wait for him, oblivious that he isn't thinking about eloping at all. . .

SPOILERS:

Probably a LOT of you have heard this song a BAZILLION times already, so you know how it ends, and what Ranma is "planning" to do... :3 But what the heck, I'll say it anyways. :P

Ranma proposes! :D But why on earth did he take so long to arrive, so long that Akane started to doubt he was coming? Well, he didn't get lost, because that's Ryoga's bit. xD

No, Ranma was busy talking to Akane's dad. :) But how did he get him to agree to letting Ranma marry Akane? There was a simple solution all along. Ranma told Soun that he had trained with his father all his life in the martial arts, and was very skilled, and it had come to his attention Akane's family ran the Tendo School of Anything-Goes Martial Arts, the same school *gasp* that Ranma's father has.

Ranma tells Soun it would be a good idea to merge the schools, and he and Akane (a martial artist herself; the only one of her three sisters interested in the Art) could run the school together. Soun, wanting to see his daughter run the dojo and know the dojo will have strong heirs after them, agrees. :) So all in all, Ranma and Akane get married, and lived happily ever after.

For there was never a story of more joy, than of Akaniet and her Ranmeo. :P
