The color of the Amelior pill is not without a sense of irony:
Green isn't red and is close to blue in a way. So when the red pill (truth) gets "shell-gamed", "snake-oiled" or "Agent Smithed", perhaps, like what Cypher wished, we go back(wards) if we take it. Many products mostly benefit the seller at the expense of the buyer (and nature).
Caveat emptor.
Keep open minded; be wary/diligent, inquire about why the pills are other colors; insist on the red pill, etc..
