Is it just a mere coincidence that two of the best worst movies of all time (Manos: The Hands of Fate and Troll 2) have a scene where main characters sing "Row Row Row You Boat" while riding in a car?

Uncommonly known fact: Troll 2 was originally written to be a musical.
Some of its main numbers were going to be: "OhMiGoooooooooooooood", "EGGS?!" and "Can't Piss on Hospitality", but none of them managed to be written in other than "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" because all the scenes ended up being so engorged with vital information that they couldn't possibly have fit in anything else without expending their time limit.
