Our sacrifices to the LORD and Mk 9:49-50

What does the Scripture mean "Every one shall be salted with fire and every sacrifice seasoned with salt..have salt in yourselves.."? What does this have to do with 1 Cor 3 and Lev. 2? What does it have to do with what we give the LORD?

Zechariah 13:9 I will put this third through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them.
