This is the background music that plays in the factory levels of the SNES platformer Donkey Kong Country. Like most DKC songs, it begins with a soft bass/percussion intro before getting to the melody. I hope you like it!

There's but one flaw: the bass guitar (hearts) is really quiet, and I have to turn the volume up to hear it adequetely. The problem? The stars and mario heads are really loud! For one, that's the opposite of how it should sound. For two, that can really give you a headache if you aren't expecting it.

But it sounds really great if you forsee that and DON'T turn the volume up.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I'm working on a re-do of this song right now. I have the stars and Mario Heads quieter in my remake.

The true name of the track is Fear Factory, but most people call it Oil Drum Alley. Kinda like how most people call the song Bramble Blast, while it's true name is Stickerbrush Symphony.

This is the same melody as the honey comb stages in DKC2. I think the melody appears in the third game too. Anyone else notice that?
