How to prepare and cook Healthy Recipes: Pineapple Chutney

This delicious chutney recipe is perfect to serve with just about any grilled meat. I love it with grilled salmon fillets.

Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups chopped pineapple
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 os seeded jalapeno
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Preparation:
In heavy saucepan, mix all ingredients, except cilantro Cook over high heat until boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until pineapple is tender and mixture is thickened, about 20-30 minutes. Set aside to cool. Pour over your favorite meat, chicken, or fish. Garnish with cilantro.

  • On the top right side of the video there is a link that says (more info) all the ingredients are there.

    And at the beginning of the video the whole list of ingredients is there. Juan

  • yes its been pretty clean! I fell off the bandwagon last week but I hoped back on this week so I feel great and I am loving it! .....I think the hardest thing for me right now is eating enough calories! Since I workout so often I know it is important to eat enough but it's harder then it seems!!

  • I have been watching my calorie intake, exercising 3 days a week, drinking more water and staying focused!

  • Have you ever grilled fruit? it really brings out the sugars and makes them taste better. I don't like eating the same things all the time so I like to change things around, cook them eat them raw.
