Lost Soul vs Behemoth (The Hidden Law 2005 vs Ov Fire and the Void 2009).
We're proud to see that such a great band like Behemoth might seek inspiration in Lost Soul's song "The Hidden Law" from Chaostream (2005) album. I could've written it's an exaggeration on their side, but let's leave it to the fans. May they judge, not me. \m/

  • Lost Soul > Behemoth

  • guys wtf...there are SO many bands out there...they play the SAME GENRE which means theyll have SIMILAR SOUNDS - doesnt that mean there would be grounds for similarities? everything but the intro sounds completely different anyway!!!!! i dunno wtf people are going on about...lost soul would probably laugh at all of you - if behemoth did take it from this song, im sure lost soul would be proud to say they influenced a mighty band like behemoth.

  • The main riff on Behemoth's Lucifer (also from Evangelion) sound VERY similar to Ondskapt's Fienden Hungrar (which came from their 2005 album Dödens EVANGELIUM). Listen for yourselves...

But tbh, it really does not matter. The songs by Lost Soul, Behemoth, and Ondskapt are all different and all good. Are some of the riffs similar? Well yeah, but hey, they're not identical.

  • Behemoth has lost its essence. They've stopped playing with their hearts. This is my Opinion. Lost Soul sounds more organic and the Band Members really love what they do. "Immerse In Infinity" is one of the Best Extreme Metal albuns in History. I really respect Nergal and Behemoth but Lost Soul is Incredibly better.

  • Behemoth and Lost soul are from Poland. I find Behemoth is better than Lost soul but Lost soul is also very good.

Polish death metal is the best!

  • Oh god, he just give tribute to this band, he said he is influenced by them, Dimebag always got some Van Halen stuff in his Solos, and? He just gave Van Halen tribute, because he was so awesome in his opinion.

  • To all pussies who thinks that this is not plagiarism - last when I talked to Jacek about what he thinks about Behemoth and so on he told me he has listened to their song one time ( it was Qadosh he guessed ). Then he said that everything was so fucking cool until he heard his riff and Dezerter's drumms' parts. Behemoth has always been totally 'inspired' by Lost Soul..too bad they fuck up ever riff badly.

  • True, but i like theire new style

  • plus they'd have alot of expenditure...

  • @Behemoth941 Behemoth and Lost Soul do sound incredibly similar in Behemoth's new style. The only thing that makes them more "blackened" than Lost Soul is that they used to be black metal. You'd have to be a fucking moron to not see that both bands are stylistically similar.

  • For me that's a real plagiarism but the 2 are goods...

Best moment in this song: 1:00 to 1:14
