omg, these people are so stupid and bias. Why do they have to make everything a race issue. Adoption is adooption and it doesn't matter where you adopt or what race/nationality. Every child needs a good loving home with good parental upbringing.

Contrary to what these idiots are saying... there is a much higher supply of infant girls in China than demand for them, even though the demand may be high. In Chinese tradition, male children are more desirable because the males are the ones who take care of their parents when they get old, and the males carry on the family name. They don't mention the large group of African American people that are against white families adopting black kids or that domestic adoption in our country is a mess. We have no problem adopting a black child from Ethiopia or another African country, but this time around we knew we were meant to go to China. And NO, I am not adopting a child from China because I think she will be smart. What a stupid comment for them to make!
