I have one female rat, should i get a second one? She doesn't like to be held, and only gets about 30 minutes out of the cage a day, in which we put her in a small space, where we don't play with or bother her.

awe they r so cute!! so im thinking of getting a couple rats in about a month or so but dont know alot about them wich is why im waiting on buying them b/c i want to find out more info :) like what they can/can't eat, what kinds there r, what kinda cage i should get, how ong do they live, things like that!

You should definitely get a mate for your rat. They are highly social animals. They don't do well by themselves. When one of my rat died the other one died shortly too. Get a female one unless you want a big family of rats. I let them out of the cage a lot.
