56312 Powers though Preston with a Pathfinder charter 29/12/08

56312 opens up through Preston as it leads a Pathfinder tour from Carlisle back to Derby. The 56 had worked the tour from Derby over the S&C to Carlisle before returning back south down the WCML and back to Derby. 67022 was also in the train just in case the 56 decided not to play but thankfully was not needed.

Top clip, it was a superb tour as well. The Skip was along for insurance just in case the Grid decided to sulk (which it didn't). Train supply was provided by the generator coach at rear.
