Bhavana, the pali term for cultivation, refers to the development of wholesome mental states and of wisdom. Dealing with difficulties when beginning to meditate. (Sorry for the background noise.)

  • I actually like the background noises. I think it helps cultivate the mind/body present awareness. Label it and let it go.

  • Ooops. You just answered my question posed in Part 1! Thanks!

  • What a lucid, easily accessible discourse on Dhyana and Bhavana!

I like the b.g. sounds too. They're part of "what's going on."

  • Thank you for your kindness Sadhu ka I was so glad to listen your teaching and telling stories about Ajan Cha. I have met him and listened his teaching at Wat nong Pa Pong more than 30 years ago. I always listen to his tape most of his tapes are not so clear because it was recorded by an old fashion device. If you are kindly translate or re-record them again and public in You Tube,it would be a very kind of you, thanking in advance.

  • Truly a great way to live. There are times when I have thought of how nice it would be to a Monk, living in a Monastery.

  • Awesome, I'm cultivating these videos!!! I also enjoy the background noises.

  • Buddhists dont usually tell jokes because it takes a 1000 years for people to understand the punchline! Buddhists don't usually tell jokes because people always reply havn't we heard that one before! Buhhists are not interested in maths because all their sums add up to one!
