Riceboytv presents how to install a Koyo Aluminum Radiator in an Acura RSX. Yes, this is our third story in a span of just a couple of months that has to do with a radiator. That's how important we think engine cooling is. The last two cars we did (1995 Nissan 240SX SE and 2000 Honda S2000) were pretty stock when it came to engine upgrades. They had some bolt ons, but nothing crazy that would make the car heat up drastically unless they were stuck in traffic or running on a track. Well, inept intern Eli's car might be running hot just because his F20 motor is working overtime to haul porky around all the time. In any case, we have John “Nads” Naderi's doo doo brown 2002 Acura RSX, which does have a decent amount of mods. Inside his K20 motor sits a complete grocery list of Toda engine parts from cams down to the stroker kit. Power is up past the mid 200 hp mark at the wheels so you know the engine is making some serious heat. That's why we turned to the Import Car Doctor, Aaron Cassan, to drop in a Koyo aluminum radiator for us. The unit is way thicker than stock and full aluminum so it'll cool way better than the cheesy stock unit and isn't prone to cracking.

  • @boulocc You can get any brand. They build it specifically for the car and engine and trans.

  • @JFCPantheras drink it out.

  • How did the remove the yellow funnel if there is too much liquid...?

  • what's the differences between koyo denso and showa? im planning to buy one for my 96 integra gsr but not sure which one is specifically for my gsr.

  • If you dont flush the old coolant out the new coolant will be contaminated which will cause lots of problems in the cooling system such as corrosion and even stay current. use a coolant test strip and check the PH u will be surprised

  • how is it pointless? coolant is coolant.

  • i miss my koyo

  • Why not flush the old coolant out ? Mixing new coolant with old shit is pointless.
