Comparing Fiona Apple to Adele isn't bad. They have similarities between each other but maybe they aren't very big similarities. I personally like them both as musicians, but I do think that Fiona Apple puts more feeling and individuality into her songs then Adele. Just because Fiona Apple is the kind of music that many of you like, doesn't mean that you have to hate Adele. They are both good musicians and both deserve credit.

I find Fiona in the same league as Bjork and PJ Harvey, while Adele is in the same league as Lana Del Rey. But i think Lana is better, she's not overrated.

Her music is overrated because kids today have nothing to compare Adele to. When Fiona Apple first hit it big MTV was still Music Television, after all. Adele isn't to blame for this phenomenon, but it is sad.
